You will forgive me, I hope, for my long silence on this Conrad blog. I have been silent for a long time, partly because my wife became very seriously ill and died last December. I miss her terribly and am only now coming out of my stupor and getting back into life. There is nothing more wonderful to get back into than the works of Conrad !
